What Dharte AI is used for

Manufacturers use Dharte AI as the operational system of record for the factory. It holds the production plan and what was actually produced against it, the quality planning and inspection records that customers and auditors require, the materials moving through the plant, the purchase orders that replenish them, the maintenance history of the machines, and the workforce availability those plans depend on.

The defining characteristic is that these are one system rather than several. A rejection recorded at an operation updates the production position and the quality record together. A material falling below its minimum level raises a shortage against the plan it will block. Nothing is entered twice, and no two reports disagree about the same number.

Who Dharte AI is for

Dharte AI is built for discrete and process manufacturers of every size — a single plant moving off spreadsheets, a mid-size supplier scaling up, or a group operating dozens of sites. There is no limit on the number of sites a customer can connect.

The industries it serves include automotive OEMs and component suppliers at every tier, precision machining and engineering, sheet metal and fabrication, plastics and rubber components, forging and casting, and electronics manufacturing. The quality backbone is drawn from automotive because it is the most demanding standard, but the operational modules apply to any manufacturer.

What modules Dharte AI provides

• Quality management and APQP — the full five-phase workflow through to PPAP submission, with PFMEA, MSA, SPC and in-process inspection.
• Production management — work orders, route cards, plan versus actual, and per-shift throughput and yield.
• Inventory and store — raw material, work in progress and finished goods with batch and lot traceability.
• Procurement — requisition to purchase order, automated RFQs, vendor comparison and approval chains.
• Maintenance — machine health, preventive schedules, breakdown logging and spare parts.
• HR and workforce — attendance, shift rosters, leave, operator skill matrix and training records.
• Sales and dispatch — lead capture, BOM-based quotations, customer schedules and delivery tracking.
• AI intelligence — meeting notes turned into owned action items, technical documents rewritten in plain language, and querying across modules.
• Multi-site management — standardised workflows, group inventory and plant benchmarking across every site.

What makes Dharte AI different

Most ERP platforms began as accounting systems and had manufacturing added over subsequent decades, which is why quality planning such as APQP is usually absent and why shop floor teams end up maintaining parallel spreadsheets. Dharte AI is built the other way round: the manufacturing and quality workflows are the core of the product, and the reporting layer is assembled from them.

The practical consequences are a shorter path to value — most customers go live on their first module within four weeks — quality documentation that is audit-ready without a gathering exercise, and multi-site standardisation included rather than priced as an enterprise tier.

Scope and current limitations

Dharte AI generates the commercial documents that come out of its operational processes, including purchase orders, sales orders, invoices and delivery challans. It is not a financial accounting or general ledger package, and it does not process payroll. Open APIs are provided so the finance and payroll systems you already run can be connected.

Several capabilities are in active development and not yet generally available: the Dharte AI Agent, automated production planning, total productive maintenance with full OEE tracking, automated audit management and fleet management. These are described on the site as roadmap items rather than shipping features.
