What is production management software?
Production management software plans what a factory will make, records what it actually made, and explains the difference. It covers the work order that authorises a job, the route card that describes its operations, the operator and machine assigned to it, the quantity produced and rejected at each step, and the resulting position against the plan.
The value is in the timing. A production report compiled at the end of the week describes a problem you can no longer act on; the same information visible at the shift it occurred is a decision you can still make.

Throughput, downtime and yield are reported per shift and per line today. Full OEE tracking broken down per machine, per shift and per site is part of the Total Productive Maintenance module currently in development.
Materials are tracked by batch and lot from goods receipt through consumption, and work orders link that consumption to the finished goods produced. A dispatched part can therefore be traced back through its operations to the raw material batches it was made from.
Yes. Every site runs the same standardised workflows and appears on a shared group dashboard, so plants can be compared on adherence to plan, rejection rate and throughput. There is no limit on the number of sites.
