Dharte AI is building an AI-powered manufacturing platform that helps businesses manage and automate processes across Production, Procurement, Inventory, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, Dispatch and Operations.
We are looking for a QA Engineer who can take complete ownership of product quality, think beyond test cases, and ensure that stable and reliable releases reach our Staging and Client environments.
Key responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of QA and release quality.
- Act as the quality gatekeeper for Staging and Client environments.
- Ensure unstable, incomplete or insufficiently tested code does not reach clients.
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, E2E, Exploratory and Smoke testing.
- Understand complex business workflows and identify edge cases, dependencies and broken flows.
- Test APIs using Postman/Swagger and validate data using SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Perform UI, API, database and cross-module testing.
- Create and maintain regression test suites and automate critical workflows using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar tools.
- Test AI-powered features including LLMs, RAG, OCR, AI Agents and AI-generated outputs.
- Test third-party integrations and IoT/device integrations where applicable.
- Investigate issues across UI → API → Database and work with developers for resolution.
- Perform Staging validation after deployments and provide QA sign-off before client releases.
BA / product thinking
The candidate should be able to think like a Business Analyst or Product Owner while testing.
- Understand the complete business flow, not just the documented requirement.
- Identify missing requirements, functional gaps and broken workflows.
- Understand the impact of a change across different modules.
- Challenge a requirement when the implemented flow does not make business sense.
- Think about scenarios such as rejection, partial approval, duplicate actions, missing data, quantity changes, dependencies and downstream impact.
- Proactively raise gaps even when they are not explicitly mentioned in the requirements.
Must-have skills
- 1–3 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in product/enterprise applications.
- Strong Functional, API, Database, Regression and E2E testing experience.
- Good knowledge of Postman, REST APIs, SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar automation tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and the defect lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and identify gaps independently.
- Strong ownership and communication skills.
Good to have
- Experience testing ERP, Manufacturing, MES, Supply Chain or Industrial Automation products.
- Experience with AI/LLM, RAG, OCR or AI Agent testing.
- Experience with IoT integrations, MQTT, WebSockets or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of Node.js/Python, Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience with performance testing.

We need someone who doesn't just ask “Does the feature work?”, but also asks “Does the complete business flow make sense?” You should be capable of taking ownership from requirement → test planning → testing → defect identification → regression → staging validation → QA sign-off → client release, and have the confidence to stop a release when the product is not ready.
